Electricity brings back those continuous campaign ads and in the KY-3 Congressional race we see the candidates contrasting strategies. Republican Anne Northup is sticking with her aggressive strategy against Congressman John Yarmuth, a Democrat.
Northup’s first television ad, titled “Results”, depicts Yarmuth’s position on offshore drilling as weak and reminds voters about America’s ongoing energy crisis. By staying on the offensive, the former Congresswoman may have found her more comfortable voice.

In contrast, Yarmuth’s latest ad, “Darryl”, sticks with the pleasantries. It trots out his accomplishments as a congressional freshman and shows he’s “in touch” with the community.

Question of the day, with Northup on the offensive will Yarmuth be forced to respond? (PB)

Should have seen four people trying to pass out Northup stickers at Waterfront Wednesday last night. A few really drunk older people wore them with pride, but mostly they suffered a polite harrassing. I give them props for balls to go out there, but I wonder if they got the message?
Darryl’s other brother has come out for Northup.
