According to the latest WHAS 11/Survey USA poll, Democratic Congressman John Yarmuth, KY-3, has fattened his lead over former Congresswoman Anne Northup, a Republican. The poll show a 57-41 percent margin favoring Yarmuth among likely 3rd District voters. Almost the exact lead he had over her in late June.

In 2006 he unseated Northup, a 10-year incumbent, 51 to 48.
