The most transparent political stunt of Mitch McConnell’s re-election campaign is officially over. A grand jury in Marshall County yesterday declined to indict Democrat Bruce Lunsford and/or members of his campaign staff for allegedly “stealing” a digital audio recorder from Richard St. Onge III, a young staffer for the National Republican Senatorial Committee who had apparently attempted to bug Lunsford’s podium during a debate.
