Verdin Co., a Cincinnati-based clock-fixing outfit, can reportedly fix the burned-out gears in downtown Louisville’s malfunctioning (read: dead) City Hall clock tower for less than $2,000. [Courier-Journal]
That’s far less than the initial estimates, which some feared could fetch $20,000, which the city apparently does not have for this purpose perhaps because it doesn’t involve a certain Baltimore-based real estate development firm (but maybe that’s not fair).
Or maybe we’re too drunk to care about time.

Just give me 1.21 gigawatts and I’ll fix that sucker.
I like the clock above Skull Alley on East Broadway!
