I think we all knew that the enslavement and subsequent destruction of humankind at the hands of a robotic master race would, on some level, involve Alex Trebek:

In addition, IBM researchers and “Jeopardy!” producers are toying with the idea of creating a computer-generated avatar that would “stand next to” the human contestants and creepily announce its answers in the form of a question via Stephen Hawking-voice.

Imagine: a digitized Sean Connery finally getting an answer right for once!!! Though the cost may be our eventual extinction, at least we can have it TiVo’d. For the survivors.
