Tis true: Sen. McConnell can expect a hearty protest when he gives the commencement address at U of L’s Brandeis School of Law graduation ceremony. A group of “Louisville activists” will gather May 9th at W.L. Lyons theater to inform Mitch of their discontent regarding his support for the dastardly Defense of Marriage Act (which defends marriage for straight, God-fearing couples; gays, not so much).

From a press release:

Curtis Morrison, one of the protest organizers, says “We are going to show up in numbers…with signs and noise…. and let the world know we don’t have to appease the leaders of the past who sought to marginalize Gays and Lesbians.”

All of which begs the question: What is the Senate Minority Leader’s favorite flavor of pie?
