Unemployment: Jeff. Co. Down, KY Up

Year-over-year unemployment rates rose in all 120 Kentucky counties from April 2008 to April 2009, but there also was good news regarding the local economy in statistics released Tuesday by the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training.
