U of L trumps Harvard in LGBT studies

Yesterday The New York Times reported that Harvard University was endowing a visiting professor in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender studies, a position the Ivy League giant believed was the first at an American college. But it turns out Harvard was wrong: The Associated Press pointed out that in fact the University of Louisville had the first such position, which was named for poet and activist Audre Lorde in 2007.
