Our little rag won a boatload of awards this week, starting with a whopping 18 accolades — including five for first place — doled out by the Society of Professional Journalists. To top it off, staff writer Phillip Bailey went on to garner national recognition, taking first place for best short-form news story in the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies’ annual competition.
