Tea Party Listserv Dying Slow Death?

Although it now seems like ages ago, yr. pitiful blogwhore attended Louisville’s first Tea Party, wherein all manner of right-wing chicanery was on full display in the name of protesting the very taxes that made possible the communist-funded Jefferson Square park, where the protest was held. I signed up for the accompanying email list so as to keep abreast of all movings-and-shakings tea bag-related, and — wouldn’t you know it — since then the movement that began as a silly, libertard social experiment has devolved into your typical annoying burial ground of worthless fowards.

Here’s one response to a fowarded email re: General Electrics’ upcoming smart grid technology push:

Congratulations on your new green appliances. However, I have a BIG PROBLEM with GE’s pandering to President Obama’s green agenda for the sake of hoped-for big GE profits. If the Cap & “Tax”, health care and other socialistic left wing agendas continue, we will be a 3rd world country within ten years.
I believe Hugo Chavez is Obama’s hero and that Obama is Jeffrey Immelt’s hero. Until the GE board rids itself of Jeffrey Immelt, his losing agenda and his pandering, I will never purchase any GE products or GE stock and will continue to urge others to do the same. I am a former sub-contractor to GE, I have friends who are retired GE employees, I am a former fan of GE, and a FORMER purchaser of GE products.
I hope that you will pass this up the line in GE to someone who cares about GE’s future and it’s current pathetic image. This is the house that Jack built and that Jeffrey is tearing down.

Ron

Is Glenn Beck’s mind-meld device running low on crazy-juice? Egads! We give Ron three weeks before his socialist overlords ban him from receiving The Truth in his company inbox.

This is a grossly biased view of a grass roots movement that started only with the intention of raising awareness on the issues. All too often these “right-wing displays” are meet with disdain from haughty “left-winged” journalist who would like to expose contradicting opinions as ignorant when in reality they are the ones with incorrect assumptions.
