Weekend Art Attack!

Debby Stratford is teaching a class on “Relief Printmaking with Exciting New Material” on Sunday, Aug. 2 from 1-4 p.m. (part of “Summer Sunday Series of Six”). Artist Skylar Smith is combining her love of art and yoga at 21c, 700 W. Main St. On Sundays in August and September, she will either teach life drawing or hold a yoga session. This Sunday, Aug. 2, it’s “Yoga with Art” from 4:30-6:30 p.m.; next week is “Cabaret Life Drawing.” $5. Attendees should bring their own mat or towel and water and arrive early to ensure a spot because space is limited.

The Louisville Ballet School’s annual Open House is Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 4 from 4-7 p.m. Free. 4121 Shelbyville Rd., 583-3150 x245. They are also holding children’s auditions for the “Nutcracker.” Visit the website for more information.
