The Heat Is On

More news coming out of Louisville Metro Animal Services’ Manslick Road shelter: Those non-existent heaters we told you about last week were finally replaced after volunteers complained about the situation, which is a good thing.

Most troubling, however, is the following command performance given by MAS spokesperson Jackie Gulbe, whom appears to be either lying or completely unaware of what’s going on during an interview with FOX-41; when reporter Bennett Haeberle asks her if he can speak with outgoing director Dr. Gilles Meloche about the flood disaster plan, Gulbe first tells him that Meloche isn’t there, then goes to fetch Meloche after Haeberle tells her, “I just saw him go into his trailer.” D’oh!

When Meloche says “A disaster is a disaster” in the video, he ought to know - HE IS A WALKING DISASTER!!!!!

A huge THANKS to L.E.O. reporter Jonathan Meador for breaking the story about there being no heat out there in his “Gimme Shelter” piece.

Amazing how even Gulbe hasn’t had the message sink in. My dog? Housebroken in 2 days. MAS? Four years on, keep getting their noses shoved in it and they STILL can’t figure it out!

DON’T LIE TO THE TAXPAYERS, STUPID!
