Seriously: News chopper pilot Bill DeReamer was struck in the eye by one of those really cool high-intensity laser-things that you normally bring to music concerts or Shia LeBeouf movies. It is a serious offense, because DeReamer could have crashed into the swine-flu vaccine-getting crowd that he was covering, far below at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. So whoever did this is in big trouble.

Well, by triangulating the location/velocity of the news chopper with relation to the angle of the laser and the crowd below, the answer is simple: No, they can’t prove shit — unless a “friend” rats out the guilty party…
