Jack attacks

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate and Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway was out of town during the heated nose-to-nose protests over U.S. Sen. Jim Bunning’s one-man crusade to block extension of unemployment benefits, but he did tape his first television campaign ad, which focuses on the recent fiasco.

The advertisement also takes time to throw jabs at Conway’s potential GOP opponents, Secretary of State Trey Grayson and Rand Paul, who both sided with Bunning’s filibuster, which he finally abandoned late Tuesday amidst pressure from colleagues on both sides of the aisle. Check it out:

UPDATE: The attorney general also appeared on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, yesterday, getting some national face time while slapping around Sen. Bunning’s position.
