In the race for Congress, Republican Todd Lally has launched his first TV ad of the general election that will begin airing today. The 30-second advertisement highlights the political newcomers biography as a Louisville native and combat veteran in his bid to unseat U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth, a Democrat.
“John Yarmuth has supported policies that have given us more debt, less jobs, and higher taxes,” Lally said in a news release. “The contrast between myself and Congressman Yarmuth couldn’t be clearer: I am an outsider who will fight for more jobs, not Nancy Pelosi’s extreme liberal San Francisco agenda.”
The ad features Lally, a lieutenant colonel in the Kentucky Air National Guard, outside of a closed down business highlighting his plan to bring jobs back to Louisville.

This is a well-produced ad, given that the candidate has no record whatsoever on local civic matters.
