This was supposed to be a great day for Mitt Romney. He won Illinois easily last night, Jeb Bush endorsed him, and everyone in the media seemed to agree that Santorum was finished.
“I keep hearing the president say he’s responsible for keeping the country out of a Great Depression,” Romney said at a town hall in Arbutus, Maryland. “No, no, no, that was President George W. Bush and [then-Treasury Secretary] Hank Paulson.”
Obviously a desperate cry for help from a man who doesn’t really want this job.
