Yarmuth to GOP: Stop lying, start reading

Rep. John Yarmuth made a friendly suggestions to his Republican colleagues on the House floor today, telling them to actually read and understand the Affordable Care Act so they won’t feel the need to misinform their constituents about it. (We suspect that was the plan all along for most, though.)

Here’s the video:

Also, here’s the reaction to yesterday’s ruling by constitutional scholar and reliable oracle into the mind and soul of Thomas Jefferson and white men in tights from yesteryear, Sen. Rand Paul:

“Just because a couple people on the Supreme Court declare something to be ‘constitutional’ does not make it so.”

Mm hmm.

Also, just because some tree-hugging bureaucrats say your water-efficient toilet will flush your Liberty Load, does not make it so. You keep speaking truth to tyrannical power, Rand.

Obamacare is NOT Constitutional. Obamacare violates 7 different sections of the Bill of Rights. It Violates the 1st amendment, 4th amendment, 7th Amendment, 9th Amendment, 10th Amendment, for starters.
Statistically Speaking, 73-75% of Americans have strongly stated in polls (from Rueters to USA TODAY) that they don’t want it. The Argument from Obama and Roberts is that Congress (which is supposed to be representative of the ppl) passed it, and therefore thru separation of powers, it should “stand” but FACTS are FACTS…Congress has a 9% approval rating…the people Do NOT believe that Congress represents their constituents. Bottomline Obamacare was shoved down out throats, and we are supposed to accept that “it needed to be passed first so that we could see what is in it” Well…we have read it and we don’t want it, nor can we afford it

Too bad Mike didn’t take Rep. Yarmuth’s advice to read the bill, no surprise, Mike didn’t even read the SCOTUS ruling.

I suppose he likes looking like a blathering idiot.
