I was a resident of Williamstown, KY. At one point (I’m not sure now) it was there they planned to build the park. I had planned on protesting the thing. It’s not just an embarrassment to my home state, but to science as well. They should be ashamed, but they aren’t. They’re getting stinking rich off the ignorance of others.

What’s more: “Contrary to popular opinion, the average size was only about that of a sheep” – the figure this was taken from, an infamous feasibility study of the ark, said that a sheep was the *median* size, not the average – the average was about the size of a rat! So they’re not only lying in general, they’re lying about *their own ‘science’*.

It’s not one skerrick to do with their beliefs, dragons, dinosaurs or dogs for that matter. It’s all about the money. The principals of the “movement” are building this Ark thing to make money off an uncritical public so they can live in the lifestyle to which they want to become accustomed. Whether it’s brainless believers or sniggering skeptics, if they pay at the door then it’s money the bank. The solution is to simply not go see this nonsense, and encourage others to not go either.

“Good Lord, what will these people believe????”

They will tell you about hyperevolution whereby about 15,000 “kinds” of animals (never mind the insects, fish, plants, etc.) were taken onto the Ark which then, through “microevolution” turned into 10 million+ species in just 4,000 years.

There is no such thing as something “too crazy” for a young-Earth creationist to believe in order to cling onto their Bronze Age mythology.
