Some of the funniest moments of the past two weeks in national politics have been the sight of Sen. Mitch McConnell telling reporters that he soooooo wanted to work and compromise with President Obama over the last four years, but that gosh darned liberal just refused to budge as he rammed through every European policy he wanted.
Last night at the Democratic National Convention, Bill Clinton decided to directly call out McConnell’s ridiculous deception:

Even though Clinton slapped McConnell, the bright side for Kentucky’s senior senator is that he did get a big endorsement yesterday for another term as Senate Republican Leader from another expert in the ladies, Todd Akin:
