Beshear spokesperson disputes WHAS Kentucky Kingdom source

As we noted last night, WHAS quoted an incredibly vague source — “familiar with the review of the Kentucky Kingdom Redevelopment Company proposal” — who said that Ed Hart’s new Kentucky Kingdom Redevelopment Co. proposal will not be acceptable to the Beshear administration… for three reasons that defy all forms of logic.

LEO asked Beshear communications director Kerri Richardson if she could confirm or deny that WHAS’s source is an employee of the Beshear administration.

“I don’t know what Joe (Arnold of WHAS) is talking about,” wrote Richardson. “No, I can’t confirm what he is reporting. We do not comment on responses to RFP while the review process is ongoing, period.”

Barring any more possible leaks — intentional or otherwise — the rest of the state’s evaluation process will be hidden from the public for the foreseeable future, as the Finance and Administration Cabinet weighs the mystery number of mystery proposals for Kentucky Kingdom using whatever mystery formula they desire. Trust them.

Steve Beshear is a corrupt, thin skinned, vindictive turd who carries grudges for years on end and his filled Frankfort with political hacks and cronies. But, he’s a Democrat and that is good enough for Kentucky and its boot licking pissant poltical press corps. Ohhhh, Kentucky.
