In case you missed Mitch McConnell making Senate history yesterday by filibustering his own bill — as sure a sign as any that he’s completely off his game — MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell summed it up about as well as you can last night:

America would like to thank Mitch for demonstrating better than any Democrat has at this point just how absurd and broken the Senate has become today because of McConnell’s abuse of the filibuster.
