After a week of Mitch McConnell flirting with the idea of Kentucky keeping its Obamacare exchange and keeping Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion, McConnell’s campaign just sent an email to supporters saying that he is…. so totally against every part of Obamacare!
Signed by his campaign manager Jesse Benton, here’s the full email:
After months of ducking, dodging, and deceiving, Kentucky voters finally have an answer to the question.
Alison Lundergan Grimes supports Obamacare.
While Senator McConnell has promised to repeal every part of this disastrous law, Alison Lundergan Grimes has joined every other Barack Obama and Harry Reid supported candidate by promising to only “fix” Obamacare. Of course, by claiming to “fix” Obamacare she would be merely playing partisan politics, all while hard-working Kentucky families have their plans canceled, premiums rise, and jobs lost.
If you agree that Alison Lundergan Grimes and Obamacare are wrong for Kentucky, help us win in November with a contribution right now.
Grimes knows that she stands in direct contrast with Kentuckians when it comes to Obamacare. That’s why for so long she refused to give us a straight answer on whether or not she supported it. She can talk and talk about how she represents average Kentuckians, but at the end of the day, she’s just another Obama liberal.
If Alison Grimes wins in November, she will not only vote to keep Harry Reid as Majority Leader, but she will also vote to keep Obamacare the law of the land and vote to keep liberal politics ahead of the people of Kentucky. Your contribution right now can stop that from happening.
John, the choice the voters of Kentucky face this November is crystal clear. A vote for Alison Lundergan Grimes is a vote for Obamacare.
Please contribute $100, $50, or whatever you can afford to help defeat Alison Grimes and her liberal Obamacare agenda in November.
